Mice in the CT+α-MDLA group received intraperitoneal injections of 14 mg α-MDLA twice daily. On day 0, mice in the CDI, CDI + T.mu, and CT+α-MDLA groups were inoculated with Clostridium difficile spores. Cecum and colon were collected from designated mice on day 2 post-infection. Arginine levels in cecal contents were analyzed.
