1,3,4-Thiadiazol-2-amine
Based on 1 Customer Validation
1,3,4-Thiadiazol-2-amine is a 1,3,4-thiadiazole antitumor agent with the potential to penetrate the blood-brain barrier. 1,3,4-Thiadiazol-2-amine can induce hyperuricemia, and this effect is blocked by Nicotinamide (HY-B0150). 1,3,4-Thiadiazol-2-amine supports the simultaneous administration of Allopurinol (HY-B0219), and their combined use prevents hyperuricemia without reducing antitumor activity.\n1,3,4-Thiadiazol-2-amine is a condensation precursor for the synthesis of antibacterial Schiff bases and their Co/Cu/Ni/Zn (II) complexes. 1,3,4-Thiadiazol-2-amine is used in research related to tumors and bacterial infections.

In Vitro
1,3,4-Thiadiazol-2-amine (12-100 μg/mL; 30 min) exhibits a plasma protein binding rate of less than 7% in canine plasma and 10% in human plasma, with its AT-albumin binding constant being 1.3×102 per mole for canine and 2.5×102 per mole for human[1].
