11α,12β-Di-O-tigloyltenacigenin B (compound 1) (2 h) is isolated from Marsdenia tenacissima stems and structurally characterized as a polyoxypregnane with a molecular formula of C₃₁H₄₄O₇, a melting point of 118-119 °C, and a specific rotation of [α]^D²⁰ +24 (c 0.1, MeOH)^[1].
11α,12β-Di-O-tigloyltenacigenin B (compound 2) is a constituent of the ETA extract from Marsdenia tenacissima, and contributes to the 42.14% total peak area of four marker compounds in the extract's HPLC profile^[2].
