Anti-Mouse CD8α Antibody (YTS 105.18)
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Anti-Mouse CD8α Antibody (YTS 105.18) is a non-depleting rat IgG2a monoclonal antibody that binds to CD8α on mouse CD8+ T cells. When used in combination with a non-depleting anti-CD4 antibody, Anti-Mouse CD8α Antibody (YTS 105.18) does not deplete CD8+ T cells, but instead promotes the induction of peripheral tolerance in this cell subset. Anti-Mouse CD8α Antibody (YTS 105.18) can be used for research on graft rejection. The recommended isotype control is Mouse IgG2a kappa, Isotype Control (HY-P99978).

Anti-Mouse CD8α Antibody (YTS 105.18) (7 mg total per mouse; 1-3 weeks) co-administered with a non-depleting anti-CD4 antibody enables chimerism induction and permanent transplantation tolerance to minor antigen-mismatched B10.BR bone marrow and skin allografts in CBA/Ca mice[1].
Anti-Mouse CD8α Antibody (YTS 105.18) (7 mg total per mouse; three times per week; 3 weeks) co-administered with a non-depleting anti-CD4 antibody modulates CD4 antigen expression in normal CBA/Ca mice without causing significant depletion of CD4+ or CD8+ T cells[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
-
Animal Model:CBA/Ca mice (age- and sex-matched)[1]
-
Dosage:7 mg total per mouse
-
Administration:every other day; 2 weeks
-
Result:Enabled all treated mice to accept initial B10.BR skin graft for >90 days.
Sustained survival of initial and second B10.BR grafts for >200 days.
Induced immediate rejection of third-party BALB/c skin graft.
Caused no significant depletion of CD4+ T cells at end of treatment.
Resulted in undetectable residual antibody after day 42.
-
Animal Model:CBA/Ca mice (age- and sex-matched)[1]
-
Dosage:7 mg total per mouse
-
Administration:three times per week; 3 weeks
-
Result:Produced minimal reduction in total T cell numbers.
Caused significant modulation of CD4 antigen expression.
Resulted in no depletion of CD8+ cells, as evidenced by total rat IgG2a-coated cells exceeding CD4+ cells alone and a significant Thy-1+CD4-CD8- population in treated mice.
