Anti-Mouse IL-6R Antibody (15A7)
Based on 1 publication(s) in Google Scholar
Anti-Mouse IL-6R Antibody (15A7) is a rat-derived anti-mouse IL-6R IgG2b κ type antibody inhibitor. Anti-Mouse IL-6R Antibody (15A7) blocks IL-6 binding to IL-6Rα and inhibits both IL-6 classic and trans-signaling. Anti-Mouse IL-6R Antibody (15A7) can be used for the researches of cancer and inflammation, such as triple-negative breast cancer.

In Vitro
The antibody framework is stable, specific and adaptable, and has the ability to bind both antigens and endogenous immune receptors. Monoclonal antibodies have several derivatives, including bispecific antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, and antibody fragments, and have significant effects in fields such as immunology and oncology. When designing inhibitory antibodies, considerations include identification of antigen-specific variable regions, choice of expression system, use of multispecific formats, and antibody derivatives based on fragmentation, oligomerization, or conjugation with other functional moieties[1].

In Vivo
Anti-Mouse IL-6R Antibody (15A7) (2.5 mg/kg, i.v., semiweekly for 3 weeks) shows anti-tumor effect in triple-negative breast cancer mice models[2].
Anti-Mouse IL-6R Antibody (15A7) (10 mg/kg, i.p., after 6 h of IL-1α injection) efficiently crosses the maternal–foetal interface, restores foetal growth, and dampens foetal inflammation in pregnant IL-1α-induced inflammation mice models[3].
Anti-Mouse IL-6R Antibody (15A7) (0.5-3 mg, s.c., 24 h before T1033C2 injection) inhibits tumor growth and increases survival rate in T1033C2 plasmacytoma mice models[4].
