Biological Activity
Antifungal agent-164 (compound 9) (0.031-5000 μg/mL; 24 h) exhibits fungicidal activity against C. albicans ATCC 10231 (MIC = 39.06 μg/mL), C. tropicalis ATCC 750 (MIC = 78.125 μg/mL), and C. parapsilosis ATCC 22019 (MIC = 312.5 μg/mL) with MFC/MIC ratios of 1[1].
Antifungal agent-164 (compound 9) (500 ns) forms a stable complex with exo-β-(1,3)-glucanase from Candida albicans over 500 ns, with RMSD below 2 Å and key stabilizing interactions[1].
