Western blot analysis of extracts from SiHa(lane 2(20μg) ,PANC-1(lane 3(20μg) ,Rat Liver(lane 4(20μg)and Rat Heart(lane 5(20μg) using Salivary alpha Amylase Antibody(HY-P84042).Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 2 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody ( 1/1000) and Loading control antibody (Beta Actin, HY-P80993,1/10000) was used in 5% non-fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight. Goat Anti-Mouse IgG-HRP Secondary Antibody (HY-P8004,1/10,000) was used for 1 hour at room temperature.

Function
Salivary alpha Amylase is a P0DUB6: Calcium-binding enzyme that initiates starch digestion in the oral cavity. Catalyzes the hydrolysis of internal (1->4) -alpha-D-glucosidic bonds, yielding a mixture of maltose, isomaltose, small amounts of glucose as well as small linear and branched oligosaccharides called dextrins
P0DTE7: Calcium-binding enzyme that initiates starch digestion in the oral cavity. Catalyzes the hydrolysis of internal (1->4) -alpha-D-glucosidic bonds, yielding a mixture of maltose, isomaltose, small amounts of glucose as well as small linear and branched oligosaccharides called dextrins
P0DTE8: Calcium-binding enzyme that initiates starch digestion in the oral cavity. Catalyzes the hydrolysis of internal (1->4) -alpha-D-glucosidic bonds, yielding a mixture of maltose, isomaltose, small amounts of glucose as well as small linear and branched oligosaccharides called dextrins
