Western blot analysis was performed on extracts from IMR-32 (lane 1, 20 μg), HeLa (lane 2, 20 μg), K562 (lane 3, 20 μg), SH-SY5Y (lane 4, 20 μg), and Mouse brain (lane 5, 20 μg) using MEIS1 Rabbit mAb.Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non - fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight.The primary antibody (1:1000 dilution) and the loading control antibody (beta-Actin, HY-P83730, 1:5000 dilution) were incubated in 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 1 hour at 37°C.Goat Anti - Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody (1:20000 dilution) was then applied for 40 minutes at 37°C.

Background

Function：Acts as a transcriptional regulator of PAX6. Acts as a transcriptional activator of PF4 in complex with PBX1 or PBX2. Required for hematopoiesis, megakaryocyte lineage development and vascular patterning. May function as a cofactor for HOXA7 and HOXA9 in the induction of myeloid leukemias

Tissue_specificity:Expressed at low level in normal immunohepatopoietic tissues, including the fetal liver. Expressed in a subset of myeloid leukemia cell lines, with the highest expression seen in those with a megakaryocytic-erythroid phenotype. Also expressed at high levels in the cerebellum
