Western blot analysis of extracts from Hela(lane 2(20μg) , K562(lane 3(20μg) ,HepG2(lane 4(20μg)and Mouse kidney tissue( lane 5(20μg) using SIL1 Antibody (HY-P88163). Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 2 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (1/1000) and Loading control antibody (Beta Actin, HY-P80993,1/10000) was used in 5% non-fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight. Goat Anti-Mouse IgG-HRP Secondary Antibody (HY-P8004,1/10,000) was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
Background

Function
SIL1 is required for protein translocation and folding in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). Functions as a nucleotide exchange factor for the ER lumenal chaperone HSPA5
-
Subcellular Localization
Endoplasmic reticulum lumen
-
Expression
Tissue_Specificity: Highly expressed in tissues which produce large amounts of secreted proteins such as kidney, liver and placenta. Also expressed in colon, heart, lung, ovary, pancreas, peripheral leukocyte, prostate, spleen and thymus. Expressed at low levels throughout the brain -
