Activité biologique
Spinosic acid A is 3β,19β-dihydroxyolean-12-en-28-oic acid, with corresponding methyl ester and diacetate derivatives characterised by melting points, optical rotations, IR, NMR, mass spectral, and elemental analysis data[1].
Oxidation of methyl spinosate A with Jones' reagent produces a mixture of Δ12- and Δ13(18)-diketo esters, while oxidation of methyl spinosate A diacetate with sodium dichromate in glacial acetic acid yields 11-oxo-methyl spinosate A diacetate, with both products characterised by melting points, IR spectra, and elemental analysis[1].
