CAP m7G(5')ppp(5')(2'OMeG) can be synthesized from 2'-O-Methyl-GDP and 7-Methylguanosine under the catalysis of guanylate transferase, and can be used as an intermediate to synthesize Cap2 structure trinucleotide cap analogs. Research on the synthesis of CAP m7G(5')ppp(5')(2'OMeG) for mRNA cap analogs is underway.
