CAP m7G(5')ppp(5')(2'OMeG)
CAP m7G(5')ppp(5')(2'OMeG) is a dinucleotide cap analog that can be used as a monomeric raw material for nucleic acid synthesis. CAP m7G(5')ppp(5')(2'OMeG) can be synthesized from 2'-O-Methyl-GDP and 7-Methylguanosine under the catalysis of guanylate transferase, and can be used as an intermediate to synthesize Cap2 structure trinucleotide cap analogs. Research on the synthesis of CAP m7G(5')ppp(5')(2'OMeG) for mRNA cap analogs is underway.

Biological Activity
CAP m7G(5')ppp(5')(2'OMeG) is synthesized from 2'-O-Methyl-GDP and 7-Methylguanosine at 37°C for 1 h catalyzed by guanylate transferase[1].
CAP m7G(5')ppp(5')(2'OMeG) is purified by HPLC and then ligated with 2'-O-Methyl-GTP at 37°C for 1 h catalyzed by T4 RNA Ligase 1 to generate the Cap2 cap analog m7G(5')ppp(5')(2'OMeG)p(2'OMeG)[1].
