Fluorescein Di-β-D-Glucuronide
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Fluorescein Di-β-D-Glucuronide is an orally active fluorescent probe substrate and an indicator of β-glucuronidase (βG) activity in intestinal bacteria. Fluorescein Di-β-D-Glucuronide can be used for non-invasive time-lapse optical imaging of βG activity in intestinal bacteria in nude mice. Fluorescein Di-β-D-Glucuronide supports the quantitative analysis of bacterial βG enzyme activity and inhibition.

Result:Detected a significant abdominal fluorescent signal, reaching a maximum total flux of 9.4 × 109 photons/second at 3 hours post-gavage, which was 13.3-fold higher than that in fluorescein-treated mice.
Showed a fluorescent signal in the large intestines that was 9.4-fold stronger than that in fluorescein-treated mice.
Detected slight, non-significant signals in the liver, stomach, kidney, and small intestines, which were at least 50-fold weaker than the large intestine signal.
Reduced the abdominal fluorescent signal.
Reduced the fluorescent signal in excised large intestine.
