Glucuronokinase (AtGlcAK)
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Glucuronokinase (AtGlcAK) is a member of the GHMP-kinase. Glucuronokinase (AtGlcAK) shows unique substrate specificity for D-glucuronic acid with a Km value of 0.7 mM. Glucuronokinase (AtGlcAK) catalyzes D-glucuronic acid and ATP to produce D-glucuronic acid-1-phosphate and ADP.

Biological Activity
Product Information This product is expressed by recombinant E. coli, N-terminal His Tagged, molecular weight 40 kDa, can be used in UDP-GlcA synthesis system, catalyze GlcA to generate UDP-GlcA under the action of AtUSP and AtGlcAK. Instructions 1. Add substrate according to the reaction system, 5 mM MgCl2, and appropriate buffer salt (such as Tris-HCl) can be added to adjust the pH to 7.5, and add appropriate amount of Glucuronokinase (according to reaction requirements); 2. After mixing, incubate the sample at 37°C for 1-2 h. Notes 1. When the system is scaled up, the incubation time or enzyme amount needs to be adjusted according to the actual situation, and low-speed shaking can be used to mix. 2. Most common biological buffers are applicable, such as Tris or PBS. Buffers outside this pH range (such as acetate buffer) may be applicable, but the incubation time or enzyme amount needs to be optimized according to the actual situation.
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
