N-(2-Hydroxyethyl) maleimide is a maleimide-based spacer used to esterify Bendamustine (HY-13567) and Melphalan (HY-17575) for the synthesis of bivalent anticancer conjugates. N-(2-Hydroxyethyl) maleimide enhances the hydrolytic stability and in vitro cytotoxicity of Bendamustine. N-(2-Hydroxyethyl) maleimide can be used in the research of breast cancer.
