Biological Activity
Platinum(COD)dichloride (Compound Pt1) displays broad antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria including MRSA, GISA, and VRSA, with an MIC50 of 0.39 μM against S. aureus ATCC 43300 (MRSA)[1].
Platinum(COD)dichloride (Compound Pt1) (up to 100 μM) is non-cytotoxic to HEK-293 cells[1].
