Biological Activity
(S,R,S)-CO-C2-acid is a click chemistry reagent. (S,R,S)-CO-C2-acid contains an Azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups. (S,R,S)-CO-C2-acid can also undergo ring tension-driven acyne-azide cycloaddition reaction (SPAAC) with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
