Karrikinolide
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Karrikinolide is a plant-active compound. Karrikinolide can be extracted from smoke water (SW). Karrikinolide promotes total Cytokinin production. Plants treated with Karrikinolide exhibit superior growth in terms of rooting, leaf and bulb size, and fresh weight.

Biological Activity
Application of karrikinolide (1-100 nM) during the in vitro propagation stage improves post-transplant growth parameters (rooting rate, leaf and bulb size, fresh weight) of Eucomis autumnalis subsp. autumnalis plantlets after 4 months of acclimatization, and increases the total accumulation of isoprenoid-type cytokinins in the plantlets[1].
