Epyrifenacil is a protoporphyrinogen oxidase (PPO) inhibiting herbicide, potently targeting the PPO2 isoform from weeds such as Amaranthus palmeri with an IC50 of 0.637 nM. Epyrifenacil also inhibits liver mitochondrial PPO across species, with IC50 values of 2.2 nM (mouse), 2.6 nM (rat), 12.1 nM (rabbit), 7.6 nM (dog), and 10.2 nM (human). Epyrifenacil induces liver tumor development in mice. Epyrifenacil can be used for weed control, and also used as a tool compound in toxicological research to study the mechanism of PPO inhibition, chemical-induced hepatotoxicity, and the mode of action of non-genotoxic carcinogens in rodents [3].

EGFR Trk Receptor

Research Areas:

Cancer

BBT-176 is an orally active EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor. BBT-176 is a reversible ATP-competitive inhibitor with a unique binding mode, and it exhibits selectivity for mutant EGFR over wild-type EGFR. BBT-176 inhibits tumor growth, induces tumor regression, upregulates EGFR expression, and does not trigger secondary EGFR gene mutations. BBT-176 can be used in research related to non-small cell lung cancer .

Chlorotris(triphenylphosphine)copper (CuCl(TPP)₃) is a DNA-targeted metal complex. Chlorotris(triphenylphosphine)copper involves non-covalent interactions (such as groove binding mode) through the copper(I) center to affect DNA function, showing inhibitory activity against bacteria, fungi, and tumor cells. Chlorotris(triphenylphosphine)copper is promising for research of antibacterial, antitumor, and antioxidant agents .

KHK-2898 is a monoclonal antibody targeting CD98, which binds to the extracellular domain of CD98 on the tumor cell membrane in a non-covalent antigen-specific mode. KHK-2898 can disrupt the heterodimeric complex formed by CD98 with LAT1 and xCT light chains, reduce the amino acid uptake capacity of tumor cells, block the PI3K/AKT/mTOR proliferative signaling cascade, and mediate antibody-dependent cytotoxicity. KHK-2898 can be used for cancer-related research. The isotype control of KHK-2898 can be found in Human IgG1 kappa, Isotype Control (HY-P99001) .

Carbonic Anhydrase

Research Areas:

Cancer

CAXII-IN-4 is a human carbonic anhydrase XII (hCA XII) inhibitor with Ki values of 4.9, 3079, 62.5 and 58.4 nM against hCA XII, hCA I, hCA II and hCA IX, respectively, showing high selectivity toward tumor-associated hCA XII. CAXII-IN-4 binds to the active site of hCA XII via a classic sulfamide binding mode, coordinates with Zn 2+, forms a hydrogen bond with Ser133, and stabilizes the enzyme complex to reduce structural deviation. CAXII-IN-4 possesses both lipophilicity and polarity, and is predicted to have superior membrane permeability and oral absorbability. CAXII-IN-4 can be used in studies related to tumor-associated carbonic anhydrase inhibition .
