CA IX-IN-6
CA IX-IN-6 is a selective human carbonic anhydrase IX (hCA IX) inhibitor, with Ki values of 8.9, 50.7, 551, and 64.4 nM against hCA IX, hCA XII, hCA I, and hCA II, respectively. CA IX-IN-6 binds to the active site via a classic sulfamide mode, coordinates with the catalytic Zn2+ ion, forms a hydrogen bond with Thr200, and interacts with key active site residues. CA IX-IN-6 can be used in studies related to tumor-associated carbonic anhydrase inhibition.

CA IX-IN-6 (compound 15h) (0.01 nM-10 mM; 15 min) potently and selectively inhibits purified human carbonic anhydrase IX with a Ki of 8.9 nM, showing 62-fold, 7-fold, and 6-fold greater selectivity over hCA I, hCA II, and hCA XII, respectively[1].
CA IX-IN-6 binds to purified human carbonic anhydrase IX via a canonical sulfonamide interaction, coordinating with the catalytic Zn2+ ion and forming a hydrogen bond with Thr200[1].
CA IX-IN-6 forms a stable complex with human carbonic anhydrase IX[1].
