Product Information
This product is a recombinant expression of E.coli, an N-terminal His Tag with a molecular weight of 40 kDa. The storage buffer consists of 20 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 500 mM NaCl, and 10% glycerol. α1-3,4,6-galactosidase is a broadly specific exoglycosidase that catalyzes the hydrolysis of terminally non-reducing α1-3, α1-4, and α1-6-linked galactose residues in oligosaccharides.
Instructions for Use
1. Add the substrate, 50 mM sodium acetate, and 5 mM CaCl2 to the reaction system sequentially. Mix well, then add an appropriate amount of α1-3,4,6-galactosidase.
2. Incubate the sample at 37°C for 2-4 hours or overnight.
Precautions
When scaling up the system, the incubation time or enzyme amount needs to be adjusted according to the actual situation. Low-speed shaking can be used to mix the components and increase the conversion rate.
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
≥20000U/mL
One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that releases 1 nmol of reducing sugar per hour from Galα1-3Galβ1-4Gal at 37°C at pH 5.5.
