2'-Deoxyuridine 5'-monophosphate disodium
Based on 1 Customer Validation
2'-Deoxyuridine 5'-monophosphate (dUMP) disodium is a deoxynucleotide that is reductively methylated to dTMP (2'-deoxythymidine 5'-monophosphate) by bisubstrate enzyme thymidylate synthase (TS). dTMP is a nucleotide required for DNA synthesis.

Biological Activity
Description
In Vitro
The compounds with anti-bacterial activity against the human pathogenic bacterium Helicobacter pylori markedly inhibit the NADPH oxidation and 2'-Deoxyuridine 5'-monophosphate (dUMP)-forming activities of HpThyX enzyme in vitro[2].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

It is recommended to prepare fresh solutions and use them promptly within a short period of time.
The percentages shown for the solvents indicate their volumetric ratio in the final prepared solution. If precipitation or phase separation occurs during preparation, heat and/or sonication can be used to aid dissolution.
