Description

2'-Deoxyuridine 5'-monophosphate (dUMP) disodium is a deoxynucleotide that is reductively methylated to dTMP (2'-deoxythymidine 5'-monophosphate) by bisubstrate enzyme thymidylate synthase (TS). dTMP is a nucleotide required for DNA synthesis[1].

In Vitro

The compounds with anti-bacterial activity against the human pathogenic bacterium Helicobacter pylori markedly inhibit the NADPH oxidation and 2'-Deoxyuridine 5'-monophosphate (dUMP)-forming activities of HpThyX enzyme in vitro[2].
