(3β)-Allopregnanolone sulfate (1-100 μmol/L; 3 min) sodium potently inhibits sodium currents in Xenopus laevis oocytes expressing Nav1.3 + β1 with an IC50 of 75 μmol/L, via mechanisms including enhanced steady-state inactivation and use-dependent block, alongside minor effects on activation[1].
