    Western blot analysis of extracts from Mouse skin tissue (lane2, 20μg), Rat skin tissue (lane3, 20μg), A431 (lane4, 20μg) and MDA-MB-231 (lane5, 20μg) using Cytokeratin 5 Antibody (HY-P84089). Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 2 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (1/1000) and Loading control antibody (Beta Actin, HY-P80993, 1/10,000) was used in 5% non-fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight. Goat Anti-Mouse IgG-HRP Secondary Antibody (HY-P8004,1/10,000) was used for 1 hour at room temperature.

The Nuclear counterstain was DAPI (Blue).

The Nuclear counterstain was DAPI (Blue).

    Cytokeratin 5 is required for the formation of keratin intermediate filaments in the basal epidermis and maintenance of the skin barrier in response to mechanical stress. Regulates the recruitment of Langerhans cells to the epidermis, potentially by modulation of the abundance of macrophage chemotactic cytokines, macrophage inflammatory cytokines and CTNND1 localization in keratinocytes
