Definition:

ADR5000 cell line is a human T-cell-derived cancer cell line derived from Peripheral blood and associated with Childhood T acute lymphoblastic leukemia and Precursor T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. ADR5000 cell line is a resistant derivative of CCRF-CEM selected against Adriamycin. ADR5000 cell line is used as an in vitro model of Childhood T acute lymphoblastic leukemia and Precursor T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia to investigate tumor-cell growth, cell survival, and pharmacological response.
