Argentine hemorrhagic fever
Definition:
Argentine hemorrhagic fever is an infectious disease caused by Junin virus (JUNV), a New World arenavirus in the Arenaviridae family of -ssRNA viruses, and transmitted by rodents. JUNV was first isolated in 1958 in Argentine.
