Definition:
C2D cell line is a mouse cancer cell line derived from Prostate and associated with Carcinoma of the mouse prostate gland. C2D cell line is immortalized or transformed by Simian virus 40 (SV40). C2D cell line is used as an in vitro model of Carcinoma of the mouse prostate gland to investigate tumor-cell growth, cell survival, and pharmacological response.
