Definition:

Capan-2 is a human cancer cell line derived from Pancreas and associated with Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. Capan-2 is used as an in vitro model of Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma to investigate apoptosis and cell proliferation.
