IGROV-1
Definition:
IGROV-1 is a human cancer cell line derived from Ovary and associated with Ovarian endometrioid adenocarcinoma and Endometrioid carcinoma of ovary. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. IGROV-1 is used as an in vitro model of Ovarian endometrioid adenocarcinoma and Endometrioid carcinoma of ovary to investigate cell proliferation, cell migration, cell invasion, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, receptor signaling and trafficking, and gene-expression regulation.
