Biological Activity: Cannogenol 3-O-β-gentiobiosyl-(1→4)-α-L-thevetoside (Compound 12) is a cardiac glycoside that can be isolated from seeds of Thevetia peruvian. Cannogenol 3-O-β-gentiobiosyl-(1→4)-α-L-thevetoside shows cytotoxicity against SW1990 and MGC-803 cells (IC50: 9.52 and 7.70 μM)[1].
