Procaterol treat inflammation through inhibiting oxidative stress in vitro[2].
Procaterol (25-200 nM) increases the viability of 16HBE cells[2].

Result:Pretreatment elevated the cell viability rate in a dose-dependent manner. Pretreatment with Procaterol plus Dexamethasone could also significantly increase the cell viability rate, but the combined effect was not better than sole pretreatment with an identical dose of Procaterol.
In Vivo
Procaterol hydrochloride is freshly dissolved in 0.9% sterile saline immediately prior to injections[3].
