Animal Model:Shionogi DS strain (male, 8 weeks old)[1]

Result:Increased hepatic 7-methoxycoumarin O-demethylase activity to 0.91 nmol/min/mg protein.
Increased hepatic 7-ethoxycoumarin O-deethylase activity to 1.23 nmol/min/mg protein.
Increased hepatic 7-propoxycoumarin O-depropylase activity to 0.41 nmol/min/mg protein.
Showed statistically significant differences (p < 0.01) compared to the control group.
