Pyrantel tartrate (Standard) is the analytical standard of Pyrantel tartrate (HY-12641). This product is intended for research and analytical applications. Pyrantel tartrate is an orally active antiparasitic agent. Pyrantel tartrate induces spastic paralysis in parasites via actions on neural and muscular cholinergic receptors as a nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) agonist. Pyrantel tartrate eliminates both immature and mature endoparasites in horses. Pyrantel tartrate can be used in research related to parasitic infections.
