Quasar670 Phosphoramidite
Quasar670 Phosphoramidite is a modified phosphoramidite monomer that can be used for oligonucleotide synthesis and fluorescent in situ hybridization probe synthesis. Oligonucleotide probes synthesized with Quasar670 Phosphoramidite can be used to detect eGFP mRNA in fixed cells; they can target the 26S rRNA D1/D2 region of Hanseniaspora uvarum to enable tracking and detection of this yeast strain.

Biological Activity
Quasar670 Phosphoramidite enables visualization of eGFP mRNA in fixed HEK293T cells; distinguishes HEK293T cells that express eGFP from those that do not in flow-fluorescence in situ hybridization (flow-FISH) experiments[1].
Quasar670 Phosphoramidite-labelled 9-mer oligonucleotide combinatorial library (MIX-Q) effectively hybridizes to immobilized Cucumis sativus chloroplast DNA probes on epoxy-functionalized glass slides[2].
The Quasar670 Phosphoramidite-labeled Huv probe enables specific labeling and detection of Hanseniaspora uvarum cells for monitoring population dynamics during wine fermentation via fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry[3].
