Background

The CC chemokine ligand 14 (CCL14) is a CC-type chemokine that is constitutively expressed in several tissues. The active form of CCL14 binds to CCR1, CCR3, and CCR5, and promotes chemotaxis of monocytes, eosinophils, and T lymphoblasts. CCL14 is a potential prognostic biomarker that determines cancer progression and correlated with tumor immune cells infiltration in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)[1].
