6-Amino-1,3-dimethyluracil is a 6-aminouracil derivative and also functions as an organic thermal stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Its compatibility with PVC is lower than that of Ca 2+/Zn 2+ stabilizers and alkyl-substituted bis(6-amino-1,3-dimethyluracil-5-yl)methane derivatives. 6-Amino-1,3-dimethyluracil can be used to prepare PVC films, which exhibit lower transparency compared to PVC films stabilized by its derived bis-uracil compounds .

CAP-53194 is a selective Plk1 inhibitor with potential anticancer activity. CAP-53194 was identified by a high-throughput virtual screening approach using molecular docking, showing 100-fold selectivity for Plk1 over Plk2-4 and other cell cycle kinases. CAP-53194 is able to effectively exploit subtle differences between the binding sites of Plk1 and other Ser/Thr kinases, thereby enhancing their inhibitory effects. CAP-53194 meets the Lipinski compound analog criteria and passes other ADMET filters, indicating good compound compatibility. CAP-53194 belongs to a new class of potential Plk1 inhibitors suitable for subsequent compound development and testing .

Others

Iptriazopyrid is a 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (HPPD) inhibitor, with a Ki value of 24.3 nM against Arabidopsis thaliana and 33.3 nM against Oryza sativa. Iptriazopyrid binds to the active pocket of HPPD, occupies the catalytic site, inhibits carotenoid biosynthesis, prevents chloroplast formation, and induces albino and chlorotic symptoms in sensitive plants. Used as a herbicide, Iptriazopyrid can control barnyardgrass when applied alone, and its efficacy does not decrease when mixed with labeled residual herbicides. When Iptriazopyrid is mixed with 2,4-D or triclopyr, its barnyardgrass control effect shows an antagonistic effect. Iptriazopyrid is a triazole carboxamide herbicide that exhibits selectivity for Oryza sativa over Echinochloa crus-galli, and has partial tank-mix compatibility with synthetic auxin herbicides registered for rice .

HMRef-βGal is a fluorescent probe and a substrate responsive to β-galactosidase (β-galactosidase) (Ex/Em=498 nm/505-600 nm). After being cleaved by β-galactosidase, HMRef-βGal triggers significant fluorescence enhancement via intramolecular spirocyclic function regulation. HMRef-βGal generates bright fluorescence in cancer cells with elevated β-galactosidase activity, enabling visualization of tiny peritoneal metastases in mouse models. HMRef-βGal exhibits low in vitro cytotoxicity and low acute in vivo toxicity in mice. HMRef-βGal can be used for preclinical fluorescence-guided diagnosis and cytoreductive surgery of peritoneal metastases, including compatibility with real-time naked-eye detection and endoscopic imaging, as well as for studies related to peritoneal metastases of ovarian cancer .

Inflammation/Immunology

DCM-KPV is a fluorescent probe targeting the human intestinal oligopeptide transporter PEPT1/SLC15A1 receptor (λex=480 nm, λem=620-670 nm). DCM-KPV specifically binds to PepT1 via its KPV domain and mediates receptor-targeted internalization, thus effectively accumulating in the cytoplasm and nucleus of cells overexpressing this receptor. DCM-KPV has the advantages of long emission wavelength, high emission efficiency, low photobleaching, and negligible cytotoxicity. DCM-KPV maintains stable fluorescence intensity under continuous illumination, exhibiting extremely high live cell compatibility. DCM-KPV can specifically accumulate at colonic inflammatory sites through the intestinal mucosa, enabling direct non-invasive visual differentiation between chronic and acute ulcerative colitis groups and the normal group .

Sulfonyl fluoride (-SO₂F) overcomes the poor target selectivity of traditional covalent warheads that rely heavily on cysteine. With high stability and tunable electrophilicity under physiological conditions, it targets multiple nucleophilic residues including Lys, Tyr, Ser and His, offering expanded druggable space, lower off-target risks and prolonged efficacy. It is widely used in covalent inhibitors, molecular glues, PROTACs and chemical probes.

MCE has built a highly diverse sulfonyl fluoride fragment library with 1,162 structurally diverse, drug-like fragments. Designed for balanced reactivity, stability and compatibility, these molecules feature tunable electrophilicity, simple scaffolds and high derivatization potential. Combined with SuFEx click chemistry, the library enables efficient modular modification and rapid structure optimization.

Ideal for targeting non-cysteine residues, this library improves covalent screening and probe development efficiency, serving as a precise tool for early-stage covalent drug discovery and chemical biology research.

Cosmetics are complex mixtures formulated through the rational blending and processing of various natural, synthetic, or extracted raw materials. The ingredients used in cosmetics are diverse in type and functionality. Based on their properties and applications, cosmetic ingredients can generally be classified into two main categories: base materials and auxiliary ingredients. The former constitutes the primary component of cosmetics, accounting for a significant proportion in formulations and serving as the key functional substances. Auxiliary ingredients, on the other hand, play roles in shaping the product, ensuring stability, or imparting color, fragrance, and other specific characteristics.Establishing a systematic ingredient database is of great significance for cosmetic research and development. By analyzing the physicochemical properties (such as oil-water partition coefficients and molecular weight distribution), biological activity mechanisms (such as antioxidant pathways and cellular signaling regulation), and compatibility of ingredients, the database can provide precise guidance for formulation design. This approach helps shorten the development cycle of cosmetic/skincare products and reduces trial-and-error costs.

MCE offers 626 types of cosmetic ingredient compounds, including antioxidants, humectants, emulsifiers, film-forming agents, and more.
