Biological Activity: Blood group H carbohydrate is a carbohydrate containing two monosaccharides, fucose and galactose, linked by α1-2 glycosidic bonds. It is the precursor of ABO blood group antigens, which are present on the surface of red blood cells and play a role in immune recognition and transfusion compatibility.
