3-Methyl-L-tyrosine is a derivative of L-Tyrosine (HY-N0473). Structurally, 3-Methyl-L-tyrosine features a methyl modification at the third position of the aromatic ring of L-Tyrosine. As a substrate for the protein tyrosine kinase Csk, 3-Methyl-L-tyrosine's relative catalytic efficiency (kcat/Km) is 38% of L-Tyrosine, indicating that the methyl modification impacts the processing efficiency of Gsk significantly. 3-Methyl-L-tyrosine helps to deepen the understanding of Gsk's molecular recognition mechanisms of its substrates, which is crucial for developing specific inhibitors targeting Gsk .

Different functional groups confer unique chemical properties and reactivity characteristics to compounds. The presence of these functional groups not only affects the physical properties of the compounds, such as solubility and boiling point, but also determines their chemical reactivity and potential applications in chemical synthesis.

Covalent ligands rely on reactive groups (“warheads”), and new warheads are key to expanding the scope of covalent modalities. Through careful selection, we constructed a structural filter containing over 110 electrophilic groups. By analyzing the electrophilic fragments selected by the structural filter, we removed any molecules with trivial or undesirable structural features. Ultimately, we obtained 4,900 multifunctional covalent fragments.

MCE Human iPSC/ESC Cortical Brain Organoid Induction Differentiation Kit is a standardized culture system specifically designed to recapitulate the developmental processes and functional features of the human cerebral cortex through forebrain ventralization-based signaling regulation. By sequentially activating the Wnt/β-catenin pathway and gradually inhibiting BMP/Smad signaling, this system efficiently drives human pluripotent stem cells (PSC) to differentiate into high-purity glutamatergic neurons (VGLUT1/2+ > 85%), while simultaneously promoting the formation of Pax6+/BLBP+ radial glial cells that establish a biomimetic ventricular-zone–like structure.

Carboxylated magnetic microspheres (low nonspecificity) are functionalized nano- or micron-sized magnetic particles with abundant carboxyl functional groups on their surface. Special chemical treatments reduce the likelihood of nonspecific adsorption. This 1μm carboxylated magnetic microsphere features a core-shell structure: a PS core, an outer layer of iron oxide (Fe3O4), and an outermost encapsulation layer. The carboxyl groups are obtained through polymer modification. Exhibiting low nonspecific adsorption, these microspheres can covalently couple with bioligands such as peptides, proteins, antibodies, and oligonucleotides using specific chemical reagents (e.g., EDC), making them particularly suitable for cell sorting, affinity chromatography, and immunoassay.

Wright's stain is a composite cell stain that mainly binds to intracellular nucleic acids, proteins and other components through thiazine dyes (such as methylene blue) and eosin. Wright's stain is pH-dependent (optimal pH 6.4-6.7) and achieves cell morphology resolution by differentially staining the cytoplasm and nucleus. Under alkaline conditions, thiazine dyes bind to nucleic acids to form purple, and acidic eosin binds to cytoplasmic proteins to form red, which can form contrasting cell morphological features. Wright's stain can clearly display the fine structures of blood cells and bone marrow cells (such as nuclear chromatin and granules) and quickly evaluate cell morphological abnormalities .

Environmental pollution refers to the process where human activities release harmful chemicals or energy (such as industrial waste, pesticides, and plastic particles) into the natural environment at a rate that exceeds the ecosystem's capacity for self-purification, leading to deterioration in the composition or state of the atmosphere, water bodies, and soil. Environmental pollution is not only a direct threat to biodiversity but also ultimately impacts human health through the bioaccumulation effect of the food chain. Therefore, the accurate identification and dynamic monitoring of pollutants constitute the scientific cornerstone for formulating environmental policies, assessing ecological risks, and promoting green chemistry transformation.

MCE features a collection of 296 environmental pollutants, covering categories such as air pollutants, water pollutants, and pesticides, for research in the field of environmental chemistry.
