5β-Cholanic acid is a hydrophobic modifier used to modify polymer carriers. 5β-Cholanic acid can improve the acid stability, cell penetration efficiency and drug sustained release ability of nanocarriers, and optimize the oral effectiveness of delivered molecules. 5β-Cholanic acid can covalently bind to Glycol chitosan (GC) to form a GC-CA conjugate, which optimizes the hydrophobic anchoring ability of nanoparticles and enables them to be stably adsorbed on the surface of PLGA nanoparticles. Such nanoparticles can resist dissociation in the gastric acid environment and maintain positive charge to enhance endocytic uptake by intestinal epithelial cells (such as Caco-2 cells). 5β-Cholanic acid can be used in the development of drug delivery systems .

Synonyms: Lecithins, egg yolk; Belovo PL 85
Lecithins, egg (Lecithins, egg yolk; Belovo PL 85) is an orally active natural phospholipid mixture extracted from egg yolks . Lecithins, egg inhibits the activities of acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE). Lecithins, egg exhibits antibacterial, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities, and helps delay cellular senescence. Lecithins, egg enhances nerve conduction, improves memory and cognitive function, and exerts positive effects on delaying neurodegenerative diseases. Lecithins, egg promotes lipid absorption and alleviates diarrhea. Lecithins, egg acts as a high-efficiency drug carrier for the preparation of targeted drug delivery systems such as liposomes .

Poloxamer 124 L44 is a block polymer of polyoxyethylene and polyoxypropylene and a hydrophobic surfactant. Poloxamer 124 L44 causes eye irritation and exhibits oral toxicity in albino rats with an LD50 of 5 g/kg. Poloxamer 124 L44 has reversible adverse effects on triglyceride and cholesterol transport in the lymphatic system of rats. Poloxamer 124 L44 can form thermoreversible hydrogels and is used as a food additive and as a drug delivery vehicle in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and tissue engineering[1][2][3].

Synonyms: 2-Maleimidoethylamine hydrochloride
N-(2-Aminoethyl)maleimide (2-Maleimidoethylamine) hydrochloride is a selective covalent binding agent for thiol groups (RSGs), covalently binding to thiols via an irreversible thioether bond to prepare MMP-2-sensitive nanosystems. Under near-neutral conditions, the maleimide group in N-(2-Aminoethyl)maleimide hydrochloride binds to thiol groups via a nucleophilic addition reaction, and can be used to modify polymers or biological interfaces, enhancing mucosal adhesion and regulating the surface charge of biological interfaces. N-(2-Aminoethyl)maleimide hydrochloride can optimize the adhesion performance of drug delivery carriers and cell interactions with biological interfaces, and is applied in transmucosal drug delivery systems (such as drug carriers for oral and bladder sites) and biomaterial surface engineering research, providing support for tissue implantation, regeneration, and related drug delivery .

Konjac glucomannan (Viscosity≥15000mPa.s) is an orally active acetylated (1-4)-β-D-glucomannan with multiple biological activities including anti-diabetic, anti-obesity, anti-inflammatory effects, as well as film-forming and gelling properties. Konjac glucomannan (Viscosity≥15000mPa.s) forms a defensive coating on the intestinal surface, reducing levels of blood glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides and blood pressure; it is specifically degraded by colonic β-mannanase produced by human colonic bacteria. Konjac glucomannan (Viscosity≥15000mPa.s) can be used as a food additive, dietary supplement and excipient for oral colon-targeted drug delivery systems. Konjac glucomannan (Viscosity≥15000mPa.s) is applicable to research related to various diseases such as type 2 diabetes, obesity, atopic dermatitis and metabolic syndrome, as well as research in fields including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and tissue engineering .
