Iso-peptide hydrolysis
1 μg of tubulin was incubated with 1 U of γ-glutamyltransferase and 10 mM Gly-Gly peptide in 65 μL of 50 mM Tris/Cl, pH 8.0 (containing 150 mM NaCl) at 37 °C for 22 h.
γ-glutamyltransferase, Porcine kidney co-incubated with GSAO serves as a positive control to demonstrate the conversion of GSAO to GCAO[3].
γ-glutamyltransferase, Porcine kidney shows properties similar to those of the renal enzyme in LLC-PK1 cells, and its activity increases with cell density[4].
