Platelet-activating Factor Receptor (PAFR)
The platelet-activating factor receptor (PAFR) is a G-protein-coupled receptor involved in both normal physiological and numerous pathophysiological processes. PAFR responds to platelet-activating factor (PAF), a phospholipid mediator of cell-to-cell communication that exhibits diverse physiological effects. Stimulation of the PAFR via binding of platelet-activating factor (PAF) elicits diverse and potent biological activities and plays a profound role in acute inflammation, allergic disorders, endotoxic shock, and anaphylaxis. PAF is a potent and versatile mediator of inflammation that is produced by numerous cell types and tissues, and particularly by leukocytes.

Aggreceride C
0 ImagesCat. No.: HY-N14934CAS No.: 104700-86-9Aggreceride C is a platelet aggregation inhibitor. Aggreceride C shows an inhibitory activity against aggregation induced by Adenosine 5'-diphosphate (ADP) (HY-W010918), Arachidonic acid (HY-109590) and PAF (platelet activating factor), but was less active against aggregation induced by collagen. -

(2S,5S)-CMI-392
0 ImagesCat. No.: HY-19205BCAS No.: 205654-37-1(2S,5S)-CMI-392 is the absolute configuration of CMI-392 (HY-19205A). CMI-392 is an orally active dual 5-lipoxygenase inhibitor and platelet-activating factor receptor (PAFR) antagonist, with an IC50 of 10 nM for human PAF receptor and an IC50 of 100 nM for rat 5-lipoxygenase. CMI-392 blocks PAF receptor binding, inhibits leukotriene synthesis, attenuates PAF-induced hemoconcentration, and suppresses arachidonic acid- and TPA-induced ear swelling in mice. CMI-392 reduces inflammatory cell infiltration, decreases MPO levels, alleviates ocular inflammation, and improves dextran sulfate sodium-induced colitis. CMI-392 can be used in the research of inflammatory and immune-related diseases such as colitis and atopic dermatitis. -
