Hypotension

Hypotension is defined as abnormally low blood pressure, typically characterized by a systolic pressure below 90 mm Hg or a diastolic pressure below 60 mm Hg. It can result from various causes including dehydration, blood loss, heart conditions, endocrine disorders, sepsis, or medication side effects. Symptoms may include dizziness, fainting, fatigue, blurred vision, and confusion. Treatment depends on the underlying cause and may involve fluid replacement, medication adjustments, or addressing specific medical conditions. In severe cases, hypotension can lead to shock and requires immediate medical intervention.

    Xamoterol hemifumarate 73210-73-8 ≥99.0%
Xamoterol (Corwin; ICI 118587) hemifumarate is an orally active and selective β1-adrenoceptor partial agonist. Xamoterol hemifumarate acts as agonist at low sympathetic tone, antagonist at high sympathetic tone, with context-dependent cardiovascular effects including modulated heart rate, blood pressure, and cardiac output. Xamoterol hemifumarate can be used for the research of heart failure, postural hypotension, and ischemic heart disease.

    Amg-1 496023-55-3
Amg-1 is a potent, reversible and selective indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase (IDO1) inhibitor (IC50 = 3.0 μM). Amg-1 exhibits >80-fold selectivity over IDO2 (IC50 > 250 μM) and >20-fold selective over TDO (IC50 > 62.5 μM). Amg-1 can be used for cancer, hypotension, and neurological disorders research.

    Arecaidine-propargyl ester 35516-99-5
Arecaidine-propargyl ester is a selective M2 muscarinic receptor agonist with blood-brain barrier permeability, with a pKi of 5.91 for hm1, 7.06 for hm2, 6.07 for hm3, 6.01 for hm4, and 6.03 for hm5. Arecaidine-propargyl ester stimulates central and peripheral muscarinic receptors. Arecaidine-propargyl ester increases intracellular ROS, induces DNA damage and Apoptosis, and upregulates the expression of MnSOD and SIRT1. Arecaidine-propargyl ester reduces sympathetic nerve outflow, induces dose-dependent hypotension, and triggers negative chronotropic effects at high peripheral doses. Arecaidine-propargyl ester can be used in research related to Alzheimer's disease and glioblastoma.
