Biological Activity: Azapetine hydrochloride is a selective α1-adrenergic receptor inhibitor with an IC50 of 205 nM. Azapetine hydrochloride inhibits Epinephrine (HY-B0447)-induced platelet aggregation, slightly enhances the contractile response of isolated rat vas deferens, and blocks α1 and α2 adrenergic receptor-mediated vasoconstriction[1][2].
