In Vitro
Acetyl octapeptide-1 (SNAP-8) (0.75-1.5 mM) acts as a competitive inhibitor of SNAP-25, decreasing neurotransmitter release with an inhibition level of 43% at 1.5 mM in an in vitro SNARE complex assay, and demonstrates synergistic effects when combined with Leuphasyl at 0.75 mM each[1].
