Palmitoyl pentapeptide 4 is a signal peptide that promotes collagen synthesis. Palmitoyl pentapeptide 4 stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen (types I, III, and IV ), fibronectin and glycosaminoglycans. Palmitoyl pentapeptide 4 is a safe and effective anti-aging ingredient that promotes collagen synthesis, improves skin elasticity, reduces wrinkles, and improves skin barrier function[2].
