CD24
Anti-CD24 Antibody (SWA11) inhibits the proliferation of human pancreatic cancer cells, ovarian cancer cells and lung cancer cells; it enhances the anti-tumor efficacy of Gemcitabine (HY-17026), 5-Fluorouridine (HY-107856), Oxaliplatin (HY-17371), Doxorubicin (HY-15142A), Paclitaxel (HY-B0015) and Irinotecan (HY-16562), and also enhances the anti-tumor efficacy of Cisplatin (HY-17394) in human embryonic carcinoma cells[2].
Anti-CD24 Antibody (SWA11) binds to CD24 on the surface of CD24-positive tumor cells, thereby triggering endocytosis, regulating STAT3-dependent gene expression and Src phosphorylation, directly inhibiting the proliferation, adhesion and invasion abilities of tumor cells. Meanwhile, it activates antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) and the complement system to enhance anti-tumor efficacy[2].
Anti-CD24 Antibody (SWA11) conjugated with doxorubicin, namely SWA11-DOX, can be rapidly internalized by small cell lung cancer cells[2].
Anti-CD24 Antibody (SWA11) (1 μg/mL) specifically detects CD24 protein in human colorectal cancer HT-29 cell lysates[3].
Anti-CD24 Antibody (SWA11) (1.6-16 μg/mL; 1 h) selectively binds to CD24-positive human colorectal cancer cell line HT-29, while showing no significant binding to CD24-negative human colorectal cancer cell line HCT116[3].
Anti-CD24 Antibody (SWA11) (10 μg/mL; 30 min) shows specific binding to CD24-positive human colorectal cancer cells, which can be detected by flow cytometry[3].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
-
Cell Line:HT-29 (CD24-positive), HCT116 (CD24-negative) human CRC cell lines
-
Concentration:1.6, 3.2, 8, 16 μg/mL
-
Incubation Time:1 h
-
Result:Measured high absorbance in HT-29 cells across all tested concentrations.
Showed negligible absorbance in HCT116 cells across all tested concentrations.
Anti-CD24 Antibody (SWA11) (10 mg/kg; twice weekly; 4 weeks) reduces SKOV3ip ovarian carcinoma xenograft endpoint weight by relative to controls, decreases tumor cell proliferation and blood vessel density, and increases macrophage infiltration in female athymic CD1 nu/nu mice[1].
Anti-CD24 Antibody (SWA11) (10 mg/kg; once per treatment cycle, 3 total cycles, 1 day prior to Gemcitabine (HY-17026)) potentiates the anti-tumor efficacy of gemcitabine, reducing A549 lung carcinoma xenograft growth in female SCID beige mice[1].
Anti-CD24 Antibody (SWA11) slows tumor growth in human colorectal cancer xenografts, modulates the tumor immune microenvironment, and enhances the anti-tumor efficacy of several chemotherapy agents[2].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Flow cytometric analysis of 1×106 MCF-7 cells with Anti-CD24 Antibody (SWA11) (HY-P991196, red). Cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilised with 90% methanol. Then stained with the primary antibody at 1/200 dilution for an hour at 4℃. Alexa Goat Anti-Human IgG H&L (AF488) (HY-P83776) was used as the secondary antibody at 1/1,000 dilution for 30 minutes at 4℃. Human IgG1 kappa Isotype Control (HY-P99001, blue) was used as the isotype control, cells without incubation with primary antibody were used as the unlabeled control (black).
