Definition:
CESS is a human transformed cell line derived from Peripheral blood and associated with Adult acute myeloid leukemia and Acute myeloid leukemia. CESS is immortalized or transformed by Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). CESS is used as an in vitro model of Adult acute myeloid leukemia and Acute myeloid leukemia to investigate β-catenin signaling, cell migration, cell invasion, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition.
