Mo

Definition:

Mo is a human T-cell-derived cancer cell line derived from Spleen and associated with Hairy cell leukemia and Classic hairy cell leukemia. Mo is immortalized or transformed by Human T-lymphotropic virus 2 (HTLV-2). Mo is used as an in vitro model of Hairy cell leukemia and Classic hairy cell leukemia to investigate tumor-cell growth, cell survival, and pharmacological response.
