SH-SY5Y is a human cancer cell line derived from Bone marrow and associated with Neuroblastoma. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. SH-SY5Y is used as an in vitro model of Neuroblastoma to investigate autophagy, cell proliferation, receptor signaling and trafficking, and cytotoxicity.
