Definition:
SK-HEP1 is a human Endothelial cell-derived cancer cell line derived from Ascites and associated with Liver and intrahepatic bile duct epithelial neoplasm. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. SK-HEP1 is used as an in vitro model of Liver and intrahepatic bile duct epithelial neoplasm to investigate cell proliferation and gene-expression regulation.
