SK-MEL-1 is a human cancer cell line derived from Thoracic lymph duct and associated with Melanoma. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. SK-MEL-1 is used as an in vitro model of Melanoma to investigate cell proliferation and cytotoxicity.
